My family has 2 main trees the Ehler's and the Harvey's. 

The James William Harvey Family of Ellershouse Circa 1931

The Harvie's are decendents of James Harvie of Dogartland Mill, Parish of Dalry, Ayr, Scotland. From all records, it seems that my Grandfather James William Harvie born Nov. 6, 1885  Cameron Lake, Hants County, Nova Scotia changed his name to Harvey.

The Ehlers are decendents of the  John EHLER   Born: APR 1750 Died: 1827. He was to have supposedly came to Canada to fight the against the Americans for the British in the war of 1812, But I am still looking for more information on him.
