The Harvie's are decedents of James Harvie of Dogartland Mill, Parish of Dalry, Ayr, Scotland. From all records, it seems that my Grandfather James William Harvie born Nov. 6, 1885  Cameron Lake, Hants County, Nova Scotia changed his name to Harvey.
